Joyler Puppies

I am a passionate, small-scale Cavapoo breeder located 45 minutes from the SLC International Airport, and deliver these sweet babies anywhere in the world. I grew up in Bloomington, Minnesota. I started having to say words like, bag, magazine, and dragon differently. People didn't understand what I was saying or corrected me. Mid-West people get it. The first dog I owned was a Papillon boy named Toby I bought from a breeder in Iowa. That poor little man was shipped to me. I didn't realize what he was in for and will never, ever ship a dog. My mission is to raise well-loved puppies that are not only adorable but also healthy, well-socialized, and given the best start to life possible. I stay home with my children and have the time to really nurture these angels puppies with my kids help of course. Before mom life I was able to travel and see some parts of the world. I worked in Holland for a year after high school. I have had the joy of visiting England, Spain, and did a study abroad in New Zealand. As a Recreation Management student it was rough in New Zealand. My surfing class final was intense. Kidding. I was a complete dream. I highly recommend hiking Milford Sound.

 

Now settled in Utah, my basement has been turned into a puppy palace. These babies are potty trained on pee pads from the age of three weeks. When they move to the bigger puppy play area, they know where to eliminate. At around six weeks we start to transition outside. I know these puppies are ready when they start to cry when they need to have a bowel movement and no longer want to on the puppy pads. That is also my cue they are ready for individual kennels. They start in a giant black wire kennel that I use as the whelping box. This way they are accustomed to a kennel from the beginning. They sleep in that together until about seven weeks old. Then I move them to individual kennels so they get used to sleeping alone before coming to your home. I aim for our puppies to go home at nine weeks or later so they can get that transition down and learn potty behaviors from their mom. At seven weeks we also start individual training where the puppy is taken outside to potty. Once they do they get playtime upstairs on the carpet with mom and all us humans. They explore new toys, new rooms and start to get comfortable outside their puppy area. I then watch for cues and take them outside to go number two, give them a praise and allow a couple more minutes of playing time then switch to the next puppy. They will need training at your house. You will want to continue the schedule I have been doing with them at first and then adjust as they get older to a rhythm that is right for you. I do potty, play, rest. If it's meal time it's potty, eat, play, rest. They are also handled to be used to petting, kisses, ear exams, teeth checks, brushes, grooming tools on body and face, all the foundational activities to get them used to being loved and cared for. This really is my obsession and I love putting into practice years of study and research. I'm good at cues, realizing what works and what doesn't. Again, the foundation is everything, so I give them the best.
